This hits so close to home. That boy was only 11 when he took his life. I can’t imagine losing my 11-year-old brother that way. It’s just so awful.

HOLY JESUS TITS!!!! I KNOW THAT SCHOOL IN THE BEGINNING!!!! I don’t doubt it though, Sioux City like the biggest shithole in the country. Growing up there was the worst 12 years of my life. People there are the biggest, self absorbed assholes I’ve ever known. But serious props to the people who made this movie. Sioux City has just dug itself into a hole so deep they can’t see light anymore.

Also, I just discovered that kid in this movie actually goes to East High School, not West High. I feel like they wanted to portray that bullying happens more in lower income areas, but that’s a lie. I graduated from East High School in 2008 and it’s a middle class area. But hey! You get to see the assholes I grew up with :D and why my self esteem is so fucking shot and beat down because I was bullied by girls all the time. I grew up like this, but it really nice to see these problems see some airtime.

I wish I could move past just liking the technical challenge of drawing or painting.  I focus on the “hows” too much. When I do like something I’ve made, it seems noone else even notices it.  Even most of my artist friends are only into it if it’s fanart :/  Everything I make feels dead which makes me feel awful.
